Skating in the Regent's-Park, [London], 1850. 'On Sunday, the frost returned with increased intensity: the ornamental waters in the Parks were again firmly frozen, and throughout the day thronged with thousands of persons'. View of '...that portion of the lake in the Regent's-park immediately adjoining the Island, opposite Sussex-place. The scene here was extremely animated; the skaters were very numerous, and their execution of circles and figures was much admired...No accidents occurred, beyond a few cases of partial immersion'.
