Panel (Furnishing Fabric), Middlesex, 1761. Pastoral scene with peacocks and ruins, one of the earliest examples of patterned fabric produced using copper plate printing. After etchings by Nicolaes Berchem after an engraving by Josephus Sympson after a painting by Marmaduke Craduck after a drawing by Francis Barlow. Manufactured by Robert Jones and Company.
