A bill of exchange on a pre-printed form from The First National Bank of Farmville, Virginia, with handwritten portions in black ink. The bill is dated September 29, 1909, and records the debt of Nelson Jordan of $375.00 owed to Carrie Jordan by November 28. Nelson Jordan signed the note at the lower right on the preprinted signature line. Carrie Jordan signed the note on the reverse vertically along the right side.
