A printed brochure advertising vacation rentals at Taylor's Playfair in Oak Bluffs, on the island of Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts. Oak Bluffs was the only town on Martha's Vineyard that welcomed black tourists. Other towns on the island did not allow black guests to stay in inns and hotels until the 1960s. The brochure is printed in green ink on cream-colored paper, and gives the start and end dates of the summer season, Inside is a list of activities in which guests can participate (Fishing, Boating, Bathing, Tennis, Bicycling, Bowling, Summer Stock Dancing), with the Playfair's rates.
