This Victorian Era marble-top side table has a 7/8" rectangular, detachable top, table support with reeded edge, and is raised on four scroll-form legs extending out from the base of walnut. Robert Smalls (1839-1915) was an African-American politician, publisher, businessman, maritime pilot and former slave.
