Royal Academy - Prize Sculpture, 1844. After 'The Battle of the Centaurs and Lapithæ', a sculpture by Edward Bowring Stephens. 'For this beautiful bas-relief, 7 feet by 4 feet 6 inches, Mr. Edward B. Stephens received the gold medal at the last distribution of prizes at the Royal Academy [in London].
