King Louis Philippe is a guest of the Queen - here they visit the famous public school: '...the reception in the Quadrangle; a right royal scene of enthusiasm....her Majesty and her illustrious guests were received by Dr. Hodgson, the provost, Mr. Grover, the vice-provost, and Dr. Hawtrey, the head master of the school, who conducted the august party into the interior of the building'.
