'Our Foreign Guests', Spanish-American War, 8 June 1898, (1899). Men off to fight in Cuba, '...photographed shortly after our arrival at Port Tampa [Florida, USA] on the morning of the 8th. They are surrounded by several of our [US] army representatives and a few natives. They were kept standing there for several hours pending their boarding the 'Segurança' [troopship]. From "The Little I saw of Cuba" by Burr McIntosh, with photographs by the author. (In 1898, American actor and journalist William Burr McIntosh went to Cuba to cover the Spanish-American War for "Leslie's Weekly" as a reporter and photographer). [F.
