Filming "City of Play", 1928, (1935). Actor and crew during shooting of a drama film at the Gainsborough film studios in London, notice the microphone above the actor's head. "City of Play" (1929) was directed by Denison Clift, produced by Michael Balcon, and starred Chili Bouchier, Patrick Aherne and Lawson Butt. It was made partly in sound.
