Etruscan Bone and Flint Mill, Lower Bedford Street, Etruria, Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, 1965-1968. The mill engineer adding oil to 'Princess', the beam engine at Jesse Shirley's Bone and Flint Mill (Etruscan Mills). The mill was constructed by Shirley in 1856. It was used to crush flint and bone which was added to clay to provide the raw material for the production of earthenware goods. It is now home to the Etruria Industrial Museum.
