Copy of an inscribed stone in Odda's Chapel, Deerhurst, Gloucestershire, 2010. This small Saxon chapel dates from the 11th century. Odda was a kinsman of Edward the Confessor and one of the most powerful noblemen of the time. An inscription states that he built a palace nearby although no trace of it remains today.
