A ticker tape parade to welcome American aviator Charles A Lindbergh (1902-1974) after he completed the first non-stop solo flight across the Atlantic on 20th May 1927. 1800 tons of ticker tape, telephone directories and office memorabilia were deposited on 5th Avenue from office windows.
