St Clement's Church, Rodel, Isle of Harris, Outer Hebrides, Scotland, 2009. Interior view showing the wall tomb of Alexander MacLeod. St Clement's Church was built in the 16th century for the Chiefs of the Harris branch of the Clan MacLeod. It was a Catholic church and was dedicated to Pope Clement I. It fell into disuse after the Reformation, although the MacLeods continued to use the churchyard as a burial site. The church was restored in the late 19th and early 20th century and is in the care of Historic Scotland.
