Neon signs of the Pioneer Club, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, 1951. Vintage linen postcard showing the 'Howdy Podner' sign, the largest mechanical sign in the world at the time. The cowboy figure was popularly known as 'Vegas Vic'. The sign lights up the night sky over a view of Fremont Street and other establishments. The Pioneer Club on Fremont Street was a casino that opened in 1942. It closed in 1995.
