'Aboard H.M.S. "Prince of Wales"', August 1941, (1945). British Prime Minister Winston Churchill on the deck of the battleship 'Prince of Wales' during the Second World War. He and US President Franklin D Roosevelt agreed the Atlantic Charter aboard the ship. Churchill (1874-1965) was Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1940 to 1945, and again from 1951 to 1955.
