Lord Mayors of London, (c1784). Henry fitz Ailwin de Londonstane (c1135-1212) served as the first Mayor of the City of London. Sir William Walworth (died 1385), was twice Lord Mayor of London, and is best known for killing Wat Tyler. From Chamberlain's History of London.
