Légende
Great Bath, Roman Baths, Bath, Somerset. The city was first documented as a Roman spa, although tradition suggests that it was founded earlier. The waters from its spring were believed to be a cure for many afflictions. Behind we see bath Abbey. The building of the Abbey was begun in 1499, making it the latest of England's great medieval churches. From 'Bath: Sixteen Camera Studies in Colour', published by Photochrom Co. Ltd., c1925.
