William Herbert, 3rd Earl of Pembroke, (1580-1630), 1824. Herbert was chancellor of the University of Oxford and he co-founded Pembroke College, Oxford, with King James I of England. He was also a patron of William Shakespeare. From Portraits of Illustrious Personages of Great Britain by Edmund Lodge, published by Harding and Lepard (London, 1824).
