'Mlle la Chevaliere d'Eon de Beaumont fencing at Carlton House, 9th April 1787.' The Chevalier d'Eon (1728-1810) having a swordfight with Monsieur de Saint George. Charles-Genevieve-Louis-Auguste-Andre-Timothee Eon de Beaumont lived the first half of his life as a man and the second half as a woman.
