Soapstone dragon and mountain with waves pearl and fish brushrest, Qing dynasty, China, 18th century. A carved yellow soapstone dragon from whose mouth issue waters in which several fish are swimming and a pearl is seen. There is a cloud-shrouded brown mountain behind and fish in waves in front in the form of a peaked mountain brushrest. The dragon's eye is brown. The piece has a wooden stand.
