Légende

Gilt brass Amoghasiddhi, Buddha of infallible magic, Mongolia, 18th century. A seated Amoghasiddhi Buddha. The head has pendulant ears and a stupa in middle of hair. The right hand is raised to bless, the left hand rests on top of the crossed legs and holds a begging bowl. The Buddha is seated on a shallow plain half moon throne, the base with gilt double vajra in circle on original copper bottom. The clothes are plain with three or four raised line borders, the right shoulder bare, the other shoulder covered. There is a two-character inscription on the back and base.
