Plates featuring images of golfers, 1931-1932. On the left is a plate from the Wedgwood Etruria series. The golfer portrayed is Cyril Tolley, who was British Amateur Champion in 1920 and 1929. The right-hand plate is from Wedgwood and Sons Burslem Sports Series. Designed by Arthur Dale Holland and Kennard Wedgwood in 1931, it was lightly printed in outline and finely hand-painted by Dale Holland. Pearlware by Kennard Wedgwood. Only about 25 were made in 1931.
