Alfred Moritz Mond, 1st Baron Melchett, British industrialist and politician, c1926. The son of Ludwig Mond, Lord Melchett (1868-1930) became the first Chairman of Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI) in 1926. He served as Minister for Health in the Liberal government in 1922.
