Brinkburn Priory, Northumberland, c2000s(?). Interior view of the church looking towards the stained glass windows at the east end. Brinkburn Priory was founded in the first half of the 12th century as an Augustinian monastery. In c1180 it became an independent house and the building of the monastery church began.
