Erbario di Trento (Manoscritto n° 1591), XVI secolo, carta 29 recto: ”Bossosilles”.
“Si esset alliqua persona sive mulier que non
posset parturire, accipiat de issta erba et te-
neat super cossam dexteram: statim pariet et
est probatum. Item, ad sanandum oculos ma-
culatos, accipe folia de istius herbe et empla-
strentur super oculos per spacium de XV die-
rum et subito removet macule oculorum.
Nascitur in locis gracis et umidis per li pradi
fralli monti.”
La traduzione è “Se ci fosse qualche persona, cioè qualche donna, che non potesse partorire, prenda di questa erba e la tenga sopra la coscia destra: subito partorirà. Inoltre per guarire gli occhi macchiati, prendi le foglie di quest’erba e fanne un impiastro sugli occhi per 15 giorni e subitole macchie degli occhi se ne andranno. Nasce sui luoghi grassi (?) e umidi, nei prati fra i monti”.

“If there is a person, that is, a woman, who is unable to give birth, let her take some of this herb and hold it on her right thigh: she will give birth immediately. Also, to heal stained eyes, take the leaves of this herb and make a poultice on the eyes for 15 days and the stains will immediately disappear. It grows in fat (?) and humid places, in the meadows among the mountains.”
