Erbario di Trento (Manoscritto n° 1591), XVI secolo, carta 26 recto: erba.
“Si esset aliquis qui non [hablerent bonum vi-
sum, accipe grana istius herbe si sunt recencia
et, si non, pone in vino bono et postea pisten-
tur. Et accipe sugum istorum granorum et po-
ne in oculos: facit clarificare oculos et videre.
Item radix istius herbe est apropriata ad om-
nia vulnera: acipe radicem istius herbe et
unam branchatum salis et conburre in uno te-
sto et polverem pone in vulneribus et subito
sanabitur.
Nasitur in alpibus lucidus.”
La traduzione è “Se ci fosse qualcuno che non ha la vista buona, prendi i grani di quest’erba, se sono freschi, e, se non lo sono, mettili in vino buono e poi pestali e prendi il sugo di questi grani e mettilo negli occhi: restituisce la vista. Inoltre la radice di quest’erba è appropriata per tutte le ferite. Prendi la radice di questa erba ed un pugno di sale, brucia tutto in un recipiente e metti la polvere sulle ferite: guariranno subito. Nasce sui monti pieni di luce.”

“If anyone has poor eyesight, take the grains of this herb, if they are fresh, and if they are not, put them in good wine and then crush them. Take the juice from these grains and put it in the eyes: it restores sight. Furthermore, the root of this herb is suitable for all wounds. Take the root of this herb and a handful of salt, burn them in a bowl and put the powder on the wounds: they will heal immediately. It grows on the mountains full of light.”
