Erbario di Trento (Manoscritto n° 1591), XVI secolo, carta 17 recto: “Triacho”.
“Ad sanandum caput, accipe de ista herba est utere et comedere jeiuno stomaco cum vino et
sic curabitur dolor capitis et splenis et est pro-
batum. Item ad sanandum unum vulnus inve-
teratum, accipe folia istius erbe et recencia si
potest habere et pulverizentur et de polvere
pone super vulnus et sanabitur et curabitur.
Nascitur in locis et terrenis salvaticis et petro-
sis et nemorosis.”
La traduzione è “Per sanare il capo prendi quest’erba e mangiala a stomaco digiuno con vino e così guarirà il mal di testa e il mal di milza. Ed è cosa provata. Similmente, per sanare una vecchia ferita, prendi le foglie di quest’erba, che siano fresche, se le puoi avere e polverizzale. Metti la polvere sopra la ferita ed essa guarirà. Nasce in luoghi e terreni incolti”.

Similarly, to heal an old wound, take the leaves of this herb, which are fresh, if you can get them, and crush them. Put the powder on the wound, and it will heal. It grows in uncultivated places and lands.
