La parte inferiore dell’opera rappresenta un fiume ricco di pesci e un monaco al centro che tira la rete. A sinistra un altro monaco si avvicina alla porta della città con un cammello carico. A destra un monaco che lavora la terra.

Pisa, Monumental Cemetery: “Thebaid”, Stories of the Hermits and the Holy Fathers inspired by the Vitae Patrum by the Dominican Domenico Canon Cavalca.
The lower part of the work depicts a river full of fish and a monk in the center pulling in a net. On the left, another monk approaches the city gate with a loaded camel . On the right, a monk works the land.
