“Studies of figures in contemporary clothes, a knight sitting on a rock, a dragon”, by workshop of Antonio di Puccio, known as Pisanello, metal point and brown ink pen on parchment, 1433.
The figures in lavish clothes are believed to be Hungarians from the Court of Emperor or members of the Court of Este. The same type of Hat worn by the figure in the upper left can be seen on the head of a knight in the sinopia of the Mantua Tournament.
