“Pietà”, scultura in legno di noce di Lorenzo di Pietro detto il Vecchietta, 1445. Caratteristica di quest’opera è il serpente schiacciato dai piedi di Cristo morto, una chiara alluzione alla redenzione dal peccato orginale grazie al sacrificio di Gesù.
