Genova, Museo del Tesoro della Cattedrale di San Lorenzo: Arca delle ceneri di San Giovanni Battista, detta del Barbarossa. Argentieri francesi e genovesi, seconda metà del XII secolo; cassa lignea rivestita in lamine d'argento sbalzato e cesellato, e quarzi. Nel lato anteriore sono narrate le scene del martirio.

French and Genoa silversmiths; second half of the 12th century; wooden case covered in embossed and chiseled silver sheets, and quartz. The martyrdom scenes are narrated on the front.
