Duomo di Monreale, Porta di Bonanno Pisano (1185-6): formella bronzea con "Natività di Gesù" (scena dal Nuovo Testamento).
La porta è firmata: "Bonanno civis pisanus". Iconograficamente nei cinque ordini inferiori vi sono scene del Vecchio Testamento, sette dedicate alla storia di Adamo ed Eva, e altre sei ad altrettante coppie di profeti mentre nei cinque superiori scene del Nuovo, al sommo Cristo e Maria nella gloria del Paradiso.

Monreale Cathedral, the gate by Bonanno Pisano (1185-6): bronze tile depicting "Jesus' Nativity" (scene of the New Testament).
The gate is signed "Bonanno civis pisanus". It depicts five scenes of the Old Testament at the bottom, starting with Adam and Eve, and five scenes of the New Testament at the top, ending in "Christ and Mary in the glory of Paradise".
