Duomo di Monreale: la Porta di Bonanno Pisano (1185-6).
La porta è firmata: "Bonanno civis pisanus". Iconograficamente nei cinque ordini inferiori di fromelle bronzee vi sono scene del Vecchio Testamento, sette dedicate alla storia di Adamo ed Eva, e altre sei ad altrettante coppie di profeti mentre nelle formelle dei cinque superiori scene del Nuovo, al sommo Cristo e Maria nella gloria del Paradiso.

Monreale Cathedral: the gate by Bonanno Pisano (1185-6).
The gate is signed "Bonanno civis pisanus". It depicts five scenes of the Old Testament on the bronze tiles at the bottom, starting with Adam and Eve, and five scenes of the New Testament at the top tiles, ending in "Christ and Mary in the glory of Paradise".
