Particolare della Vergine Maria, raffigurata con un preziosissimo abito ricamato in oro, mentre presenta l'abate committente Andrea e con la mano sinistra regge il cartiglio con la scritta "tuam fili clementiam", raccomandazione per la comunità di Pomposa e per l'umanità. Accanto a Lei il santo benedettino è Guido, mentre in primo piano stanno le sante Caterina, Orsola, Elena e Maddalena.
