An aerial photo of the Centenario Stadium in Montevideo, Uruguay (undated picture). It was built for the first Soccer World Cup in 1930 and was named Centenario on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Uruguay's independence. The stadium was built according to the plans of the architect Juan Scasso between February and 10 July 1930. Centenario Stadium can seat up to 80.000 spectators.
