The mummy of a Scythian warrior pictured at the Museum for Art and Craft in Hamburg, Germany, 13 February 2008. The mummy forms part of the spectacular exhibition on the horse-riding nation of the Scythians (800-300 BC) on display until 25 May. Precious golden and silver burial objects, clothes ornamented with jewellery, weapons, arms and armour suits testify to the life and pomp of the Scythians. The Scythian nation's territory spanned from the outer Mongolia over Siberia to the Black Sea.
