The Nazi propaganda picture shows the reception of German troops by Sudeten men and women in Egerland, Sudetenland (Czech Republic) in October 1938. The original text from the Nazi news report on the back of the picture reads: "Moving rally of joy in Egerland. An almost indescribable receptions was prepared for German troops, who were ordered to liberate the Sudetenland by the Fuhrer, by the Sudeten Germans as they marched in peacefully. Our picture shows an old Sudeten German woman from Bergdorf joyously handing a flower to the arriving German troops."
