The Nazi propaganda photo shows the funeral procession for murdered supporter of the Sudetenland party (SdP), Alfred Knoll, in Jaegerndorf (Krnov), Sudetenland, September 1938. The original Nazi text on the back of the picture reads "Farewell to Alfred Knoll. He died under mysterious circumstances. On Sunday afternoon, tens of thousands of people took part in the funeral procession for SpD member Alfred Knoll. The official Czech report said that Knoll committed suicide after being locked up in a Czech prison. Alfred Knoll was known to be a fun-loving person. The doctor found Knoll's skull was smashed. - The flags of the Sudetenland German movement behind the funeral procession in the streets of Jaegerndorf."
