Photos from August 1944 taken by prisoners with the Jewish Sonderkommando in the concentration camp Auschwitz-Birkenau can be seen in the Frieder Burda Museum in Baden-Baden, Germany, 04 February 2016. Artist Gerhard Richter' used the photos as a template for his piece 'Birkenau' from 2014. They are part of the exhibition 'Gerhard Richter.
