French adventurer Jean-Louis Étienne starts his the flight in a hot-air balloon in Longyearbyen, Norway, 05 April 2010. 63-year-old Étienne wants to become the first man to fly over the North Pole in a balloon. If everything goes accdording to plan, the world record attempt will take between seven and ten days and will end in Alaska.
