Fossil prosimian "Ida" firstly again united

The skeletonized fingers of the hands streched away from the body, the wrecked head tilted a little to tha back, the primate skeleton ''Ida'' can be seen at Senckenberg museum in Frankfurt/Main, Germany, 29 January 2010. The 47 million year-old prosimian from the pit Messel, counts as the widly completed fossil primate, which has ever bin discovered. The body of today's lemurs is in such good condition that besides the stomach content, smallest furparts can be seen. After it was seperated length wise into two parts after its discovery, now it is shown firstly in one whole part at an exhibit in Frankfurt. The value of this funedes is considered inestimable.
