Soviet and American (with helmets) soldiers raise their glasses on the occasion of their historic meeting at the river Elbe. For the first time Western Allied forces and soldiers of the Red Army met on German ground in Strehla, roughly 30 kilometres South of Torgau, on the 25th of April in 1945.
