National Socialist leader Adolf Hitler (m) is welcomed with the Hitler salute by workers during his visit in the Volkswagen factory (undated). Imperial Chancellor Adolf Hitler (l) lay the foundation stone for the Volkswagen factory near Fallersleben North of Braunschweig on the 26th of May in 1938. Following Hitler's orders, a "Strength Through Joy city" was built too, which is Wolfsburg today.
