Soviet tank monument at Potsdamer Chaussee in Berlin

A jeep of the US army stands in front of the Soviet tank monument at Potsdamer Chaussee in Berlin-Zehlendorf in the year 1951.
Unknown persons had recently doused it with petrol and set fire to it.
The borough assembly of Zehlendorf demanded to tear down the monument from 1945. It was resettled only in 1955 onto GDR territory near the border crossing point Dreilinden.
