US troop transport arrives in Berlin after trip through Soviet zone

The commander of the Berlin US brigade, General John H. Hay (r), welcoming the US Lieutenant Colonel Robert G. Krebs (m) after his arrival in Berlin on 12th April 1965. The American soldiers, coming from the FGR, had to drive through the Soviet zone to relieve the US troops already stationed in Berlin. The journey proceeded without any problems.
