A US armored personnel carrier arriving at Berlin after a trip through the Soviet zone on 20th August 1961. The tanks and other heavy US military vehicles, which were laoded on railway wagons, are part of the reinforcement for the soldiers stationed in Berlin and had to be transported through the Soviet zone to arrive at West Berlin.
