US troop transport to Berlin leads through Soviet zone

Légende

The first vehicles of the combat group of the 7th US infantry regiment arriving at the allied Berlin checkpoint Dreilinden on 29th November 1961. The American solders, coming from the FRG, had to drive through the Soviet zone to relieve the troops stationed in Berlin. The journey proceeded without any problems.
