Pontoon bridge of US Army across the Main

Pioneers of the US Army have built a movile pantoon bridge across the Main on 16th September 1954 near Okriftel. In the course of a big fall maneuver the bridge was used for transporting war equipments and military vehicles. After it has served the purpose it was dismantled.
