"Thanks, Gorbi!" for the Reunification

Strangers wrote "Thanks, Gorbi!" on the wall below a Soviet tank monument in Berlin (picture taken on October 9th 1990). In large parts the German Reunification was made possible due to the new policy of Soviet state president Michail Gorbatschow. Since October 3rd 1990 the Germans are reunited again.
