Légende

The car hit by a bazooka. An attempt on the American commander-in-chief of Europe, General Frederik James Kroesen's life on the 15th of September in 1981 has been made. A bazooka projectile was fired on the car which was on its way from Kroesen's apartment to the headquarter. While the armoured car had been damaged severly, the General and his wife were only slightly injured, driver and adjutant remained unhurt. Federal Public Prosecutor Kurt Rebmann, who asked the Federal Criminal Police Office to investigate, sees the culprits as members of the Red Army Faction (RAF).
